Who we are and why we do what we do.

Yup, it's true.  We wanted to find a new way to brew beer and other drinks that leveraged the true soul of the liquid, the hop. Unfortunately the archane methodologies around adding hops to the brew seemed highly inefficient, expensive and inconsistant to us.

So we created HopXL, a company that specializes in the extraction of hops using hydrocarbons. Now before you get all up in our collective grills about chemicals, what we actually do is turn the oil into a water-soluble (WS) concentrate including the terpenes, flavonoids, thiols, sulpurs, essentials, and acids that are the elements that we want in our brews. The water-soluble concentrate is crystal clear in water, variety specific, and made completely from Hops.  

HopXL was created to help breweries with rising pricing of hops, the displacement of beer, cleaning tanks and reducing many of the costs around using dry-hopping. The idea is tocreate a liter of water-soluble concentrate that will give flavor and aroma  for a 10-barrel brew.   HopXL was created to enhance the brewing process and alltypes of beverages, such as RTD, seltzers, teas, cannabis and otherliquids.  Our WS solution is shelf stablefor up to two-plus years and does not need to be shaken before use.  One drop changes the flavor and aroma profileof any beverage. Our method is superior to traditional CO2 extraction, whichfails to carry the terpenes, flavonoids, essential oils, and acids. What wefound is companies add in the terpenes and flavonoids to their solution aftertheir extraction method lose these compounds over time. Our extraction processon the other hand directly extracts all of the terpenes, flavonoids, essentialoils and acids.  We have filed for aprovisional patent in the beginning 2024. With our innovative extraction process and technology, we aim torevolutionize the hops industry and cater to the needs of breweries across theUnited States.
